Conversations in Culture

Logo Conversations in Culture
Enjoy the Washington Delegation’s new Conversations in Culture—a mostly monthly series featuring some of the best of European culture, including music, visual arts, theater, culinary arts, and literature. Conversations in Culture offers diverse programs on European culture, including music, visual art, theater, culinary art and literature – with an educational twist. In informal discussions leading and emerging experts provide insights about their art form, in combination with a demonstration or performance.

Programs highlight the vast outpouring of creativity throughout Europe over the centuries and continuing today, enriching the cultures of people around the world.

Participation by both European and American performers illustrates the enduring relationship built through culture, between the United States and the European Union’s Member States.

Learning about other cultures creates relationships between peoples, which endure beyond changes in government.

Programs are free and open to the general public.
